Laser Communication in Space
Mynaric's product range for space applications covers Space-to-Space, Space-to-Air and Space-to-Ground connectivity for satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) as well as medium Earth orbit (MEO).
Our CONDOR product line of optical communication terminals for satellites in LEO are capable of establishing reliable broadband and secure links for inter-plane and intra-plane scenarios independently of satellite motion. They have been built from ground up to be suitable for serial manufacturing, rapid satellite integration and mass deployment.

Laser Communication in Air
Information sovereignty is the basis of modern defense strategies. Next-generation military unmanned aerial systems (UAS, RPAS) will be highly networked to meet the requirements of future operational scenarios. Radio technologies will reach their limits in these scenarios, as their data rate and range are limited and their security is not always guaranteed (keyword jamming) - in addition, radio systems are easy to locate, making covert missions difficult.
The HAWK is an optical communications terminal for secure real-time communication with a wide array of airborne applications. It is manufactured with the most advanced optical wireless technology and designed for Small Size, Weight, and Power (Low-SWaP). The bidirectional and synchronous communication terminal is optimized for Air-Air and Air-Ground applications.
